The typography within this magazine article, helps convey the genre of the artist and what her personality is like.

Her name: 'Nicki Minaj' is the largest form of writing on the spread, yet is covered up by her arm. This is due to the editors, presuming that the target audience of the magazine will know who she is. The images also anchors her name because it conveys her loud, care free persona as she isn't fazed by what the media says about her.

The use of the colour 'pink,' is frequent throughout the article. This is to show her strong female identity, alongside the use of bold font, which shows her strong passion to be considered different.

The use of typography above her name: 'The Gospel According to,' is in black italic font. This is to enhance a sense of romanticism,  which contrasts with the pink theme throughout.
